Our Story

 

Hey,

My name is Carly Harper Dangerfield and I am the founder of Harfield Home & Interiors.

Our furniture adventure started about 10 years ago now when I stumbled upon this amazing coffee table that someone had thrown out. 

I made my now husband pick it up (much to his dismay) and bring it home for me to fix up. He was shocked, when I quickly turned it into a profit, but I knew I was onto something. From that first coffee table onward, I never looked back. And over the past decade in the home furniture and design industry, Harfield has become what it is today through a series of serendipitous events and business progressions along the way.

Since those early days... our business has grown and evolved a lot and so has our family! 

We live in Ladner, BC where we are raising our two young boys Bodhi & Koa. 

It's been a wild ride full of many adventures, including two retail storefronts, large scale design projects and wonderful supplier connections built over the years. 

Our company decided to step away from operating Brick & Mortar locations in 2022, to allow us the opportunity to spend more time together as a young family and reduce our overhead operating costs which allows us to offer competitive marketplace pricing to our customers and continue our e-commerce growth.

After spending time in the residential design sector, we have expanded considerably with the establishment of our own direct manufacturing factories in Vietnam & China. 

Our furniture is designed with a minimalist, modern aesthetic in mind and Nordic Scandinavian influence, using high quality materials from sustainable sources, that are built to last a lifetime.
